The Helix is, by definition, a curve in 3d space. We've applied curves within curves and tapers where you'd otherwise find 90 degree cuts. Viewed from the front 3/4 angle, the top spokes visually straighten as the lower ones curve away towards the background. Both left and right sides are different, so all four wheels are twisting in the same direction - forward. If this is all sounding a bit technical, that's okay. It's meant to.
